Delicious Apple Tarts
Master chef beware. Today the children had the opportunity to make small individual apple tarts. We learnt how to make pastry using flour, butter and water. The pastry was placed in the fridge to ‘relax’ and during this time we prepared our apples. We peeled and de-cored the apple and diced them into small pieces.
Then came the tricky part, rolling out the pastry without it sticking to the rolling pin, but a dusting of flour helped us on the way.
