In Year 3 we have been beginning to learn how to play the recorder. To start with we found it quite difficult not to blow too hard into the mouth piece, but as we have practiced we have got much better at creating the perfect sound through controlling how hard we blow into the recorder.

So far, we have learnt 5 pieces of music. They are:

  • Little Fly
  • No More Milk
  • Traffic Jam
  • Caterpillar Bye-bye
  • Joe, Joe

These pieces of music have focused on us using the notes b, a and g. We found it quite challenging at first to change between notes but are beginning to be able to do this much easier now.
