APPLYING FOR A PLACE

Admission criteria for nursery places in a Barking and Dagenham community school

If there are more applications than places for any nursery classes we will use the following criteria, in the priority order 1 to 3, to decide which children we will offer places to.

Admission criteria

Priority 1 Children who are in the care of the local authority
Priority 2 Children who have a sibling (brother or sister) at the school when that child is due to start school.
Priority 3 Children who live closest to the school, measured in kilometres in a straight line (as the crow flies).

You cannot appeal against decisions made about nursery places.

(Nursery is not compulsory school age and we only have 52 places available so unfortunately due to overcrowding in this area we are unable guarantee your child a place.)

You can find more information by clicking Here

From Sept 2018, all applications for school admissions will be completed online just like Secondary transfer and Reception admissions.
